~Swords and Ghillies News:

CONGRATULATIONS to competitors at the Anne Arundel Highland Games!  Sheri Brooks and Leona Ciconi both earne third places and a stamp on their cards!  (Way to go on your first competition girls!)  

Shannah Minderline earned a third and a fourth, and a stamp on her card, (one more to go for Novice!!).  

Lauren Ritter earned a second in her Jig, (and had to do the unheard of, compete ALL ALONE for her JIG!).

Elspeth Glasgow swept four first places, took the trophy for her age group, participated in the dance off for "Dancer of the Day", and tied with Hilary Lewis of the Vincent School for "Maryland's Best Dancer"!!!  

WONDERFUL job guys!!  

Also, thanks to the DeBellis family AND the Knight family for braving the "monsoon" to support the team!!

Knight Magic Sr. and Jr. students, keep an ear out for more information on the Maryland Council for Dance Workshop, the second weekend in November.  Check with Miss Beth and Miss Ashley for more details.
